Could there be a way in which you can enter a prior or different case of the same patient from a separate case such as remakes. Instead of having to search the patients name and click on multiple jobs to find the correct order.

Agreed - the remake function is not usefully annotating the orders either. The original order gets a GUID reference for the new order not a hyperlink which is unreadable and does not state the remake reason which would be beneficial. The new order pulls the notes across (sort of) but also needs a back reference along the lines of (Remake order created from Order Id: 123455 due to remake reason: whatever). This adds much needed context to the remake itself and what to watch out for
